Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Reception in Carmel, IN. The role offers flexible, anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $18.54 per hour with a fixed Sunday shift and a schedule designed for income stability, while enabling growth toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly where possible.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Lobby Reception in Carmel, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures.
• Monitor visitor access, verify identification and appointments as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide basic directions and information, and communicate professionally with building personnel and emergency responders.
• Observe lobby activity and access points, report unusual activity or security-related concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with established emergency response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
