Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service by greeting visitors, answering and directing calls, and assisting with site access procedures at a utility location.
• Monitor visitor entry, issue and collect visitor credentials, maintain access logs, and communicate arrival information to appropriate personnel.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures, including verifying approved access and reporting concerns to designated contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following emergency procedures.
• Maintain clear records of visitors, incidents, and front-desk activities, supporting a welcoming reception.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Desk Driver in Carmel, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain clear, accurate records of visitors, incidents, and front-desk activities, and support a welcoming, orderly reception environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
