Responsibilities include monitoring access points, verifying authorizations, responding to incidents and medical emergencies, and maintaining daily logs. This is a full-time role with a $21.00 hourly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while following site procedures and emergency response plans.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain visitor records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and medical emergencies; document actions taken.
• Complete reports and daily activity logs; communicate concerns to site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain visitor records, and support access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate daily activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
