Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare location following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report access-control concerns to site personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations per established procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to leadership.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, assist with access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare administrative location by following site-specific procedures and supporting security‑related needs.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
