The Security Officer will perform all duties assigned consistent with New York Methodist Hospital's commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and humane manner. This is a Part-Time evening shift position 3:00pm-11:00pm, including all weekends/holidays and some weekdays, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Preferred Criteria

• One year security experience within a hospital or related medical setting.
• Valid driver's license.

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8 & 16 Hour Security Courses NYS Security License.
• Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of starting in role and continued BCLS certification required every two years.
• Must be able to write and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and visitors.
• Writing legibility and clarity.
• Basic computer literacy.

Salary Range

$23.42-$24.05/Hourly
