Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns with calm, structured reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, restricted-access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify authorizations, and assist with visitor processing per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents and patrols and communicate to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Observation in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, restricted-access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
