Qualifications

• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activity reports while communicating with site personnel and first responders.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Secure Entry Operations in Gretna, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, guests, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, transportation partners, and first responders while documenting incidents, observations, and daily activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
