Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to join our Jefferson, WI team. In this unarmed patrol role, you will monitor facilities, assist employees and visitors, and uphold site-specific procedures with a focus on safety and customer service.

You will work a consistent evening schedule (Mon-Fri 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) at a food and beverage location, earning $17.00 per hour and benefiting from Allied Universal's training, growth opportunities, and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and report observations through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and following established entry procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and policy concerns that may affect operations at the food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
