Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report irregular conditions to site contacts and leadership.
• Support facility protocols by reporting damaged doors, lighting issues, spills, or other conditions.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Mornings in Wausau, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $17.45 / Hour

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the dairy production location, warehouse areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report irregular conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support site-specific food and beverage facility protocols by reporting damaged doors, lighting issues, spills, or other conditions that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
