Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility-related industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and report maintenance, lighting, access-control, or other property conditions that may require attention.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun: 02:30 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
