Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Full Time Screening Operations in Indianapolis, IN. You will safeguard clients by performing site-specific screening, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns.

Daily duties include operating screening equipment, assisting visitors and personnel, and maintaining a secure environment through consistent procedures and teamwork. The role emphasizes professional customer service and reliable shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or materials entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of belongings, shipments, and restricted-access areas as directed.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading docks, business operations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
