Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Operations in Niles, OH, to protect aerospace/defense locations by screening people, vehicles, and materials and by enforcing site policies. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories considered where allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and materials per access-control requirements.
• Verify identifications, credentials, authorizations, and visitor documents before access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and document observations for site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access and report irregular conditions.

As a Screener supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain alert to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter unauthorized access. • Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and materials entering or leaving the aerospace and defense location in accordance with established access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting access to restricted areas.
• Respond to screening alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, screening areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting irregular conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
