Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify identification and direct individuals to check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening points and perimeter areas.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with site access-control procedures and restricted-area requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; document visitor activity and direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening points, entrances, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
