Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Screening Documentation in Zionsville, IN to safeguard clients and support screening operations at a logistics location. You will monitor access points, review images, deter incidents, and report concerns while delivering professional service to employees and visitors.

Requirements include at least 1 year of security experience, X-ray screening preferred, and a background check

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to site procedures; verify identification and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry/exit points, loading areas, and package handling for unusual activity; report observations via established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening Documentation in Zionsville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will support screening operations by monitoring access points, reviewing X-ray images, and identifying potential prohibited items. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures, including verifying identification, reviewing authorization, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, loading areas, and package-handling operations for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or policy concerns; report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
