Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Credential Screening to support a logistics and distribution site. You will screen personnel, visitors, and packages, monitor access points, and document activities while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling interior and exterior areas, and reporting security concerns in a calm, professional manner. Full-time position with evening shifts at $17.22/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.

As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people and property, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer systems to document activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the facility in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and assigned areas; report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, vehicle areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and complete required reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
