Allied Universal, based in North America, is hiring a Security Officer Screening Queue Management for our Irving, TX site. You will screen personnel, visitors, and materials, monitor access points, and respond to incidents to maintain a secure environment in a logistics and distribution location.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of security experience, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Screening Queue Management in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and use technology to support daily operations. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate records of access and screening activity.
• Monitor access points, entry lanes, and screening equipment; report prohibited items, unauthorized access attempts, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
