Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Protocols in Dallas, TX to safeguard clients and maintain a secure environment across logistics sites. You will screen personnel, visitors, shipments, and vehicles, monitor access points, and report security concerns while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires at least six months of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work a 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, shipments, vehicles, and belongings per established procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor access points, credentialing activities, and screening equipment; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
