Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor or delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and/or packages, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and committed to acting with integrity.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
