Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Scheduled Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA to monitor and secure distribution areas, deter incidents, and assist employees and visitors. You’ll provide exceptional customer service while following site policies and emergency procedures.

The role requires unarmed patrols, clear communication, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, driver, and contractor activity; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregularities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. • Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
