Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking and entrances.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; escort visitors as assigned and control restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and follow site procedures to ensure safety.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare purchasing and operations setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support authorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
