Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Roving Patrol in Winter Haven, FL. The role involves unarmed patrols in healthcare locations, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Earn $17.75 per hour with a flexible day schedule. Key duties include responding to emergencies, reporting incidents, and ensuring access control while upholding Allied Universal’s standards and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support authorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support authorized access to restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
