Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Peters, MO is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for routine site checks at a logistics and distribution facility. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide courteous customer service while helping deter security incidents and maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Minimum requirements include being 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, background and drug screening, and a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, loading areas, and package handling zones, verifying authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
