As a Security Officer Retail Patrol in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, property policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points, observe and report unusual activity or property conditions, and document incidents and patrol activity according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
