Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Retail Driving in Denver, CO to protect a busy retail location and its customers. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly; document observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking, loading areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, customers, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Pay Rate: $22.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other policy violations.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, customers, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
