Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer specializing in Retail Driving to protect client sites and deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license, ability to perform patrols of the location, and readiness to work a night schedule on Fridays and Saturdays.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
