This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and may favor candidates with a guard card and a valid driver’s license. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour with daytime and overnight schedule options.

• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols in retail areas to deter incidents and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards per site procedures.

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining professional communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
