Job Description

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol in Southern Pines, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more.

As a Patrol Officer in a residential setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be key in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible, utilizing your skills in communication and customer interaction. This position does not require carrying a weapon, allowing you to focus on community engagement and support.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential area and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• NC Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
