Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Residential Building Patrol in Baltimore, MD. The role involves patrolling residential surroundings, monitoring entrances, and delivering excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors.

The position is full time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Candidates should be at least 21 and able to pass a background check and drug screen where permitted by law. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Maintain clear communication with site contacts and leadership and complete shift reports.

As a Security Officer Residential Building Patrolin Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential care location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist residents, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and incidents according to site requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
