As a Security Officer Vehicle Entry Driver in Artesia, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and help maintain orderly operations. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $21.37 / Hour

• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Control access to restricted refinery areas in accordance with established security-related procedures and hazardous-materials location requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established notification and response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
