Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Refinery Full Time in Deer Park, TX, to guard a chemical/petrochemical site. You will manage access, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and TSA-issued TWIC, with preferred experience in access control and badge handling. This is a full-time, on-site position with advancement opportunities and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing access credentials as authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, restricted-area concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Support site access requirements by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, following screening procedures, and helping to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

As a Security Officer Refinery Full Time in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through a visible presence and timely reporting of security-related concerns. This is a driving position. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thu: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
