Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer in Harrisburg, PA. You will greet tenants, visitors, and employees, verify identifications, issue visitor credentials, and monitor access at a commercial real estate lobby.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following site procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor building lobby access and coordinate with management and tenants on arrivals and access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly, following established procedures.
• Monitor security systems and report unusual activity or maintenance issues promptly.

What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access to the building lobby and communicate with building management, tenants, and appropriate personnel regarding arrivals, deliveries, and access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor security-related systems and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
