Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk customer service at a commercial real estate location following site procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and report issues per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnel and emergency services.
• Receive calls, manage guest inquiries, and communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.26 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, tenants, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification and authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when directed.
• Receive and direct calls, manage guest inquiries, and communicate professionally with tenants, building management, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
