Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Reception Desk in Atlantic City, NJ to welcome residents and visitors, control access, monitor cameras, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service. You will maintain professional presence, document activity, and work with a team that upholds integrity and service in daily operations and incident handling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, greet visitors and verify access per policy.
• Monitor entry points, cameras and alarms, reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency services as directed.
• Maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation for the site.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site representatives as directed by established procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while supporting a welcoming residential environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
