Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Host in Bloomsbury, NJ to greet visitors, manage access, and maintain a professional presence at the front desk in a healthcare location.

You will support a caring environment through excellent customer service, clear communication, and integrity, while working a flexible schedule and leveraging exclusive shifts via our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients, vendors, and staff; verify access and direct individuals per site procedures.
• Monitor front desk area and visitor management systems to support controlled access.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records while following confidentiality rules.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts and responders.
• Report unusual activity and access concerns to leadership and management.

Pay Rate: $20.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and staff; verifying access authorization; and directing individuals according to site-specific procedures.
• Monitor the front desk area, visitor management systems, and incoming communications to support controlled access within a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records while following confidentiality requirements and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Support security-related procedures by observing and reporting unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
