Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Visitor Intake for Bloomsbury, NJ. This part-time front-desk role welcomes visitors, manages access, and delivers customer service in a healthcare environment.

You will work Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, earning $20.05 per hour. The position supports a secure, professional environment with standard security procedures and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, vendors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate areas in accordance with facility requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional front-desk presence and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
