Job summary

St Vincent de Paul is seeking a Security Officer in Phoenix, AZ to safeguard volunteers, staff, residents and guests across SVdP locations. The role supports three levels (I–III) with increasing duties and performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs security duties at SVdP locations including shelters, offices and stores.
• Patrolling, access control, unlocking/locking buildings, and radio checks.
• Files incident reports in a timely manner.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and life-saving interventions when needed.
• Observes staff and guests to enforce health and safety guidelines.
