Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Security Officer for System Offices to protect property and people by patrolling interior and exterior areas, identifying hazards, and responding to safety concerns.

You will monitor entrances, guard against theft, report incidents, maintain equipment, and ensure doors and exits stay secure, while communicating clearly and maintaining calm vigilance to keep everyone safe.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate with minimum one year of experience as a security officer in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large office setting.
• GED with one year or more of security training/experience in a corporate office setting.
• Basic Life Support - CPR within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances to guard against theft and maintain security of the facility.
• Patrol, guard and secure property and grounds; monitor for violations and regulations.
• Convey information clearly to individuals or groups; listen and respond to calls.
• Identify problems and take appropriate action based on available facts and constraints.
