Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Phoenix is seeking a Security Officer for System Offices to protect property and people. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor for unauthorized individuals, and respond to hazards, maintaining a visible, proactive security posture.

The role requires vigilance, detail orientation, and strong communication. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with related security experience and CPR training within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate and Minimum of one year of experience as a security officer in a hospital, healthcare facility, or large office setting.
• High School GED One (1) year or more of security training/experience in an corporate office setting. , upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 60 Days

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances to guard against theft and maintain security of the facility.
• Patrols, guards and secures property and grounds. Monitors assigned areas for possible violations and regulations.
• Conveys information orally or in written to individuals or groups to ensure they understand the message. Listens and responds appropriately to calls.
• Identifies problems/concerns and take appropriate action to resolve the problem. Keeping I mind the available facts, constraints, and anticipated consequences.
