Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Irving, TX. You will monitor, deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to travelers, employees, and visitors while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

The role is full-time with a schedule listing specific shifts; prior security or CPR training is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Applicants subject to background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, gates, public spaces, employee areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with site procedures; coordinate with airport operations and responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports while maintaining a professional presence.

Security Officer Property Protection Patrol

In Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.11 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, gates, public spaces, employee areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with airport operations and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
