Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time security professional for Sacred Heart Hospital. You will help establish and maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors, and screen those entering the facility.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean record, and preferably 3 years in security, police, or military. Certifications in CPR, healthcare security, and safety tactics are required within one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred.
• Certification required within one year of employment: CPR, Healthcare Security, Defensive Tactics, ASP Tactical Baton, Taser.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, patients, visitors and property.
• Screen people entering the facility to ensure safety and security.

Healthcare Security is a plus. Must have a current State of Georgia driver's license with a good driving history.

Position Requirements

• A. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• B. Licensure/Certification: Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period). Must obtain certifications in: American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)* International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security* Defensive Tactics** ASP Tactical Baton** Taser** *Certification required within one year of employment. **Annual recertification required.
• C. Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.
• D. Special Qualifications: Professional appearance, language, and attitude required.
