Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Sacred Heart Hospital in Georgia. Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, visitors, and property, and screening people entering the facility. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean record, and certifications in CPR, IAHSS, Defensive Tactics, ASP Baton, and Tasers within one

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean driving record (max six unsafe points in 24 months).
• Certifications within one year: CPR, IAHSS, Defensive Tactics, ASP Baton, Taser; annual recertification required.
• Minimum of three years in security, police, or military; healthcare security experience a plus.
• Professional appearance, language, and attitude required.

• Screen individuals entering Sacred Heart Hospital.

Position Requirements

• A. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• B. Licensure/Certification: Current State of Georgia driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (no more than six Trinity Health unsafe driving points within a 24-month period). Must obtain certifications in:
  • American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)*
  • International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security*
  • Defensive Tactics**
  • ASP Tactical Baton**
  • Taser**
  *Certification required within one year of employment. **Annual recertification required.
• C. Experience: Minimum of three years of security, police, or military experience preferred. Healthcare security experience is a plus.
• D. Special Qualifications: Professional appearance, language, and attitude required.
