Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Licensed Senior Security Officer for Samaritan Hospital on a part-time day shift. You will provide armed, uniformed security across SPHP campuses, assess threats, and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
The role requires NYS armed security licensure and minimum five years in healthcare security or law enforcement. It includes responding to incidents, submitting thorough reports, and may require pickup of shifts at other facilities as needed.
Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Licensed Sr. Security Officer - Samaritan Hospital - Part Time Days Under the direction of the Lead Security Officer, is responsible for the performance of all security and safety duties as assigned. Provide armed, uniformed Security presence throughout SPHP campuses. Senior Security Officers will assess threats, provide immediate response to, and mitigate offenses against public order, life and safety of colleagues, staff, patients, visitors and others on and within the buildings and grounds of SPHP. Offenses or events requiring investigation and thorough reporting will be made and submitted to Lead Security Officer and other SPHP Leadership. Coordination with law enforcement agencies based on threat assessment and offenses. Pick up hours as the need arises, at our Acute care facilities, other than primary work location.
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.70 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
