Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Boston MA. Friday and Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM.

Starting Pay is $22.15 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide professional communication and customer service at the front desk.

Qualifications

• Front desk security experience preferred.
• Access control and badge issuance experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate front desk.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Answer and route calls, provide directions and general site information, and maintain a professional, welcoming front-desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
