Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for a pharma location in Lexington, MA. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors, follow site-specific procedures, and assist with emergency responses as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license where required, and preferred CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify suspicious activity and follow-up needs.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify credentials and visitor access per site policies; document observations and incidents in reports.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, guiding directions, and addressing security concerns courteously.

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a pharma location in Lexington, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor access as directed by site policies, and document security-related observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports.
• Support a professional environment by following post orders, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and helping to address security-related concerns with courtesy and adherence to site protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (as per Allied Universal driver policy requirements).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• CPR certification and/or First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in line with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
