Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM and Sunday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will work collaboratively with integrity while contributing to a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to designated contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
