Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Perimeter Walkthrough for Indianapolis, IN. The role involves patrolling a financial institution, providing excellent customer service, monitoring access, and promptly responding to incidents.

Schedule is Saturday and Sunday day shifts with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience and meet other minimum requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, maintenance concerns, and other security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
