Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) in Indianapolis, IN. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service at a technology-focused location.

As part of Allied Universal’s team, you’ll follow site procedures, prepare incident reports, and maintain logs while supporting a flexible schedule and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
