Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor credentials; document entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per post orders.
• Prepare incident reports and logs; communicate observations to site leadership and supervision.

Pay Rate: $23.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, exits, and other required information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other security-related documentation while communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
