Job summary

Allied Universal, Mount Olive, NJ, is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, and maintain a secure environment, patrolling the facility perimeter and monitoring access points.

Position is full time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. You will respond to incidents and complete logs while upholding Allied Universal’s people-first culture and teamwork.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city license preferred for security-related work.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation may be conducted to comply with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures per site policies and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to deter unauthorized entry and maintain access documentation.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required records, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
