Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Mount Olive, NJ. This full-time role focuses on unarmed patrols, customer service, and safeguarding manufacturing and industrial locations.

You will respond to incidents, monitor access points, perform patrols, and document observations while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain accurate access-related documentation.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required records, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Mount Olive, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM


• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
